Rules for providing and using the free internet access service
These terms and conditions regulate the rights and obligations when providing the service of free access to the internet using the WIFI wireless network on the facilities of the company Bohemia-lázně a.s., Sadová 5, 360 01 Karlovy Vary, Company ID: 45357218, which is the service provider.
A user is any person who uses the free Wifi wireless internet access service and becomes a user when they connect their electronic device to the Wifi network. The user shall use the free access service in accordance with these rules and in a reasonable manner. By using the free internet access service, the user agrees to these terms and conditions and undertakes to comply with them.
The service is provided free of charge. The service is provided via an open WIFI network, i.e., the data flow through the user’s device is unencrypted, allowing access to third parties, and does not include a firewall or antivirus software.
The provider is not responsible for the content, accuracy, security of transmitted data, or for any injury or damage caused in connection with the use of the free internet access service. If the user intends to use the service for transmitting confidential or sensitive information, they are obliged to use their own sufficient means of protection such as a VPN service (virtual private network) and security mechanisms (antivirus and firewall).
The availability and quality of the free internet access service is not guaranteed by the provider in any way and may be modified, limited, or suspended at any time, evan without prior notice. The scope of third party content and services may be limited by the provider at any time. Delays, outages, occasional interruptions or slowdowns in data transmission, and connection failures may occur when using the Service. In view of this information, the provider shall not be responsible for any damage caused by the use of the service. The provider is not obligated to provide technical support services to the user.
The user must not perform any activity while using the service that threatens or could threaten, disable, or otherwise disrupt the proper functioning of the service or other users’ devices, especially:
- overload the network and thus disrupt service functionality,
- perform any activities causing transmission or spread of computer viruses or other malicious code,
- transmit IP packets with false addresses or other false sender information,
- send unsolicited messages (spam),
- spread alarm messages or false information,
- visit and distribute sites with illegal content (such as copyright infringement, hate speech, terrorist content, sale of prohibited or counterfeit products, child pornography, contacting children for sexual purposes, illegal animal trade, internet fraud, or distribution of malicious software),
- engage in activities that infringe the rights and legitimate interests of the provider or third parties including infringing intellectual property rights,
- damage hardware or software through which the service is provided,
- change the configuration of the service,
- carry out any other activities that are contrary to applicable law.
In the event of suspected violations of these Terms, the provider may take appropriate legal steps against the user and may deny them the use of the service. The user is obliged to indemnify the provider and compensate the provider for all damages incurred due to violation of these terms and coditions or applicable law.
